How Much You Get Back
Your refund is calculated and based on the sales price of the home. The more expensive the home, the greater the refund. Regardless of how much we can negotiate off the list price, your refund is up to 15% of the actual commission paid. Usually we can apply the refund against your closing costs, subject to lender approvals. We will provide up to a 15% refund of our commission earned. How it works with a Washingtonian Properties Partner Agent
We also partner with agents from other brokerages to work with you when you're buying a home outside our service area or the service area you are desiring requires a specifically qualified agent. Washingtonian Properties Partner Agents typically charge the standard commission; however, they'll refund up to 15% of their commission to you because you come to them through Washingtonian Properties. Partner agents are client-reviewed and rated on each sale. While they work for other brokerages, partner agents receive incentives based on customer reviews and ratings ensuring that Washingtonian Properties customers receive superior service from all of our agents.
